HOCKEY RETURNS TO ELMIRA IN A BIG WAY

It was announced Wednesday afternoon by Mammoth Sports and Entertainment President, Steve Donner, that the Federal Prospects Hockey League will be returning to Elmira this October.

The team will be known as the Elmira Mammoth, an ode to the historical fact that both mammoths and mastodons once roamed the prehistoric Chemung Valley.

The teams home opener at First Arena will be played mid-October 2022.

Donner also announced that thanks in part to First Arena's partnership with Coca-Cola, Dasani Water will be the proud sponsor of the "Dasani Kids Promotion" where children twelve and under will be admitted free with the purchase of a paid adult ticket (one child per adult).

The Mammoth jersey prototype was also unveiled and can be seen here! Donner announced that actual jerseys and logos will be debuted in the upcoming months.
